Adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator (orange) does not go off
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  1. Connect the HDS to the data link connector.
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is any DTC indicated?
YES -
Troubleshoot the indicated DTC.■
NO -
Go to Step 4 .
  1. Start the engine, and wait for 2 seconds.
  1. Watch the adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator.
Does the adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator go off?
YES -
Intermittent failure. The system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.■
NO -
Go to Step 6 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  1. Check for adaptive cruise control (ACC) system DTCs with the HDS.
Is any DTC indicated?
YES -
Troubleshoot the indicated DTC.■
NO -
Go to Step 9 .
  1. Check for PCM DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC U0104 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 10 .
NO -
  1. Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 86 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 11 .
NO -
  1. Check for adaptive cruise control (ACC) system DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 107 indicated?
YES -
NO -
