Maintenance Schedule - Except European Model

This Maintenance Schedule outlines the minimum required maintenance that you should perform to ensure the trouble-free operation of vehicle. Due to regional and climatic difference, some additional service may be required. Please consult the warranty booklet for a more detailed description.
About replacing engine oil, engine oil filter, manual transmission fluid (MTF) and automatic transmission (ATF)
Use the Normal Conditions schedule for replacing engine oil, engine oil filter, MTF and ATF, if the severe driving conditions specified in the severe driving conditions below do not apply, and if only OCCASIONALLY driving in severe driving conditions. If the vehicle is driven MAINLY in any of the following severe driving conditions, use the Severe Conditions schedule.
Severe Driving Conditions on engine oil and engine oil filter replacement:
  • Driving less than 8 km (5 miles) per trip or, in freezing temperature, driving less than 16 km (10 miles) per trip.
  • Driving in extremely hot over 35 °C (95 °F) conditions.
  • Extensive idling, or long periods of stop-and-go driving
  • Trailer towing, driving with a car-top carrier, or driving in mountains conditions.
  • Driving on muddy, or de-iced roads.
Severe Driving Conditions on MTF and ATF replacement:
  • Driving in extremely hot over 35 °C (95 °F) conditions.
  • Trailer towing, driving with a car-top carrier, or driving in mountainous conditions.

Service at the indicated distance or time whichever comes first
Inspect drive belt
  Use genuine Honda ATF
Check parking brake adjustment
Visually inspect the following items:

Check for correct installation and position, check for cracks, deterioration, rust, and leaks

Check tightness of screws, nuts, and joints. If necessary, retighten
Brake hoses and lines (including ABS/VSA)
All fluid level and check for leak
  Check levels and check for leaks. If necessary.

Windshield fluid
Exhaust system
Fuel lines and connections

Check fuel lines for loose connections, cracks, and deterioration

Every 10,000 km (6,250 miles) or 1 year
Every 5,000 km (3,125 miles) or 6 months
Every 10,000 km (6,250 miles) or 6 months
Inspect front and rear brakes

Check the brake pad and disc thickness. Check for damage or cracks front pad , front disc , rear pad , rear disc

Check the brake linings for cracking, grazing, wear, and contamination

Visually inspect the following items:
Tie-rod ends, steering gearbox, and boots
Suspension components

Check the bolts for tightness

Driveshaft boots

Check the boot and boot band for cracks

Every 10,000 km (6,250 miles)
Rotate tyres
  Check tyre inflation at least once per month
Every 20,000 km (12,500 miles)
Every 40,000 km (25,500 miles)
Inspect the valve clearance
Every 80,000 km (50,000 miles) or 4 years If the fuel suspected to be contaminated with dust, every 40,000 km (25,000 miles) or 2 years
Every 40,000 km (25,000 miles)
Every 100,000 km (62,500 miles)
At 200,000 km (125,000 miles) or 10 years, thereafter every 100,000 km (60,000 miles) or 5 years
  Use genuine Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2
Every 3 years
Replace brake fluid

Use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid. We recommend genuine Honda Brake Fluid
