DTC Troubleshooting: P0507 (14)
|DTC P0507:||Idle Control System RPM Higner Than Expected|
NOTE: If some of DTCs are stored at the same time as DTC P0507, troubleshoot the DTC (s) other than P0507 first, then recheck the P0507.
|1.||Turn the ignition switch ON (II).|
|2.||Do the DTC CLEAR in the CLEAR MENU with the HDS.|
|3.||Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min-1) with no load (in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle for 1 minute.|
|4.||Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.|
Is DTC P0507 indicated?
YES - Go to 5.
NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.n
|5.||Check for vacuum leaks following parts.|
Is there vacuum leaks on the parts?
YES - Repair or replace the problem part, then go to 6.
NO - Go to 6.
|6.||Turn the ignition switch ON (II).|
|7.||Do the ECM RESET in the CLEAR MENU with the HDS.|
|8.||Do the ETCS learn procedure.|
|9.||Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min-1) with no load (in neutral) untill the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle for 1 minute.|
|10.||Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.|
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES - If DTC P0507 is indicated, check for secondary air leak again, then go to 1. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC troubleshooting.
NO - Troubleshooting is complete.n
