Stop the engine and open the rear door.
Disconnect the connector (Item 1) [Figure 70-70-6].
Remove the mounting nuts (Item 1) [Figure 70-70-7] that secure the fuel shutoff solenoid.
NOTE: There is a ground strap (Item 1) [Figure 70-70-7] that is needed for the fuel shutoff solenoid to function correctly. A good ground is essential for correct operation of the fuel shutoff solenoid.
Reverse the above procedure to install the fuel shutoff solenoid.
